What We Do

We are an Occupational Therapy practice specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a method of therapy that focuses upon changing unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes (called ‘cognitive distortions’) in order to improve emotional regulation and to change behavior. CBT is helpful in the treatment of chronic pain, substance abuse, less severe forms of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorders, and more. CBT is a goal-directed activity that seeks to improve coping skills and to create a more open and mindful state.
